Join us for pre-arrival webinars, where you will have the chance to speak with ISSS staff and other SIUE departments. Webinars include Housing, Undergraduate Advising, and the Bursar's Office. We will also host 2 pre-arrival webinars with International Admissions, where we discuss pre-arrival tasks, orientation, and answer questions you may have about SIUE. You must register below for each webinar you want to attend. Each webinar will include a Q&A session.

Fall 2024 OPT Workshops

If Fall 2024 is your final semester enrolled in required coursework, you can begin applying for OPT on September 20, 2024.

To prepare you for the OPT application process, the ISSS Team will be hosting workshops throughout the semester. We highly recommend that you attend the Virtual OPT workshop in October.

Our OPT Workshops will be a hands-on walk-through of completing your application. We will provide you with a step-by-step guide to apply for OPT and work through completing your USCIS I-765 online application.

Virtual OPT Workshop information:

• October 30, 2024 - 10:30 p.m. - 12:00 p.m.

To participate in our workshops, we recommend that you complete the Online OPT Application Training and submit the "Acknowledgement of Training" at the end of the module by 12p.m. on October 29^th to best prepare you for the hands on workshop day

After you complete the online training, our office will contact you with the details of the workshops.
