Undergraduate Programs Committee
The Undergraduate Programs Committee (UPC) is a standing committee of the Faculty Senate Curriculum Council. The UPC has the responsibility to review proposals for modifications, additions, or terminations of programs. The operation and guidelines for the Undergraduate Programs Committee is outlined in the operating papers for the Curriculum Council.
The Chairperson of the UPC is selected from the Curriculum Council members by the Chair with the approval of the majority of the Council. At least five additional members are appointed by the Chair of the UPC, of which at least four are faculty. Terms of service are one year, and members cannot serve more than three consecutive terms.
