Vision
We envision pharmacists will be decision makers in charge of making our choices of medication therapy the best they can be. Technology may change how decisions are made, yet patient care will be relationship-based and aimed at improving access to care in communities where people live.
Mission
The mission of the SIUE Department of Pharmacy Practice as a community of clinicians and educators is to advance the development of pharmacy graduates, scholars, and leaders who are capable of meeting diverse patient care needs in our region and shaping a changing world. We aim to be a national model for exceptional pharmacy education, patient-centered care and innovative research.
Who We Are
are a community of clinicians and educators who are dedicated and enthusiastic about creating a nurturing environment for optimal student learning through our contemporary coursework and progressive experiential education. We aim to develop deep meaningful connections with our students, our patients, our community, and our profession. We are changing pharmacy practice in Illinois and rippling outward across our region.
